Born in Germany on the 9th of August 1971 and residing in Istanbul with his husband and two kids, Elif is a left brain marketing specialist with 17 years of experience in marketing and internet; focusing mainly on Business Development, Product Development, Marketing & CRM for online businesses.

She started her career as Advertising Specialist in Koç Holding. During her career she took part in all parties of digital arena (agency, advertiser and portal). Some of the companies she worked in are; Arcelik, Bates Turkey, IXIR, Peppers & Rogers Turkey, Proximity Istanbul. She has been lucky to be involved in many “first in Turkey projects”. She headed the teams that won the first web design award, created the first e-retail site, established the first CRM agency, established first online marketing agency.

She is now Hürriyet Internet Group’s Marketing Group Manager, establishing and growing the presence of Hürriyet’s online businesses in Turkey. Elif and her team work to manage marketing to increase the adoption of digital influence of Hürriyet Internet Group.

Elif holds a degree in Management from Bilkent University, completed the Design Culture & Management Program at Bilgi University and currently pursuing Master Studies on new Media at Kadir Has University.

She has always been very active in professional associations. She is the founder member of IAB Turkey and IAA Young Chapter-Turkey where she was also the former VP. She is also serving as lecturer at various universities.

She speaks English, German fluently and a little Spanish. She likes very much singing, scuba diving and snowboarding.
