Ismail is a young promising entrepreneur who cofounded “SMSBridge”, an award-wining tech startup, awarded at the Algerian Startup Initiative and selected as of one the top 100 Mediterranean startups.

SMSBridge is also the first company in Algeria to be funded by a Venture Capital.

Recently, he moved to France in order to pursue a Master’s Degree Program specializing in New Technologies and Project Management at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, Nice. He was the founder and president of “ETIC” a student organization that is working on TEDxAlger, first TEDx event in Algeria. Under Ismail’s leadership, ETIC managed to organize 16 tech events during 2009-2010.

Ismail is a member of AIESEC; the world’s largest student-run NGO and has recently joined the MakeSense Project, an open platform for social business, as part of the social media team.
