Nikos has been in the IT industry for more than twenty years. He has held numerous senior management positions in several IT companies, most notably the one of Regional

Finance Director in Oracle for South Eastern Europe.

Later on, he led a internet startup for five years and, after this, his own innovative IT consulting company that dealt only with open source solutions.

He has a broad knowledge of management systems and cultures, as well as web applications and business solutions. He is tracking actively the startup scene too, being a member of the board of Open Coffee Greece and an advisor of the Openfund.

He has also participated twice in the Athens Startup Weekend and won the first and second position respectively, with different teams and startup ideas.

Since 2006 he got involved into blogging and has been blogging (both in English and Greek) ever since about social media, entrepreneurship and web 2.0 technologies. His blogging has brought him recognition and he is regularly invited in conferences and events inside and outside his country.
